If you're thinking of doing your engagement photos in Yosemite or having a Yosemite elopement, just prepare yourself now - you're going to have to do them at sunrise. Gotta avoid the crowds and get the best lighting, ya feel me?
Kayla & Paolo were up for the challenge, and have spent their entire relationship experiencing some of the most beautiful outdoor places in the world together so it only seemed right to celebrate their engagement in Yosemite.
Let me lay out the timeline of this Yosemite trip so you can understand just how dedicated they were to getting these photos -
- 1pm: start driving from SoCal
- 8pm: arrive in Yosemite, eat, sleep
- 3am: wake up, get ready, drive to the park
- 6am: start taking photos
- 9am: start driving back down
- 3pm: arrive back in SoCal
So, dedicated is an understatement. We did the damn thang!
I always love getting the chance to shoot here, and this time around we got to take some engagement photos at Glacier Point and Taft Point. With some of the most unreal scenery you'll find in the world, Yosemite is an amazing place for an engagement session.
